Alvaro Mantovani
Alvaro Mantovani has been a follonican man with a great passion for music; he has been a self-made guitarit and a pop music player, but he also learnt the basic harmony and composition. He has been a very patient and generous teacher, he taught his students the greatest love for music and for guitar. Most of the actual guitarists from Follonica has been in his “music room”, and they still rememeber the almost religious attitude with which Alvaro Mantovani played, listened and talked about music.
We could not but dedicate to him a guitar festival in Follonica, an event for which he could be very proud.
