The “Alvaro Mantovani“ International Guitar Festival is one of the main guitar festivals in Tuscany; it takes place every year in July in Follonica, a sea town near Grosseto, in the South of Tuscany, under the artistic direction of Prof. Fabio Montomoli.
Many great international artists are invited at the “Alvaro Mantovani“ International Guitar Festival; they perform during the evening concerts and teach in the masterclasses for the students.
The “Alvaro Mantovani“ International Guitar Festival consists also of the “Alvaro Mantovani“ International Guitar Competition and the luthery exhibition, where both famous guitar maker and new ones can promote their products.
Every event of the “Alvaro Mantovani“ International Guitar Festival (concerts, masterclasses, competition and luthery exhibition) is held in the “Bonello Bonarelli” Music School of Follonica, for one week one of the main meeting point for guitar and music lovers.
